Originally from the Bluegrass State, Suzanne and husband, Mark, relocated to the greener pastures of Ocala in 1988. Horses and an abundance of sub-tropical plant life and agricultural businesses turned out to be the perfect fit for the Western Kentucky University Agriculture graduates.
Suzanne worked as the Urban Horticulturist with Bill Phillips and the Marion County Extenstion service for approximately ten years. Then, in an effort to have a flexible schedule and be an available mother to her two precious girls, she developed her own horticulture business. Needing yet another challenge, Suzanne began working as the supervisor of the Discovery Center in December 2009. Suzanne is passionate about education, our youth, and our environment.
It is her desire to “Wonder, Explore, and Create” every day!
