Sarah Damien

Sarah Damien, Discovery Center Instructor

Sarah started volunteering with the Discovery Center in 1999 when it was located downtown in the Marion Theater. With great role models to lead the way, she learned a great deal about working with children. Channeling her passion for the outdoors, she led a safe and successful Outdoor Adventure Camp during her summers away from college. After graduating from the University of Florida with a LAS Degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration, she came back to work with Marion County youth in a teaching capacity. Working with children and taking parts in the amazing trips and activities has fueled her love for the Discovery Center and inspired her to continue working for the education and betterment of children every day.
