Thursdays: Ongoing 4 week session blocks
T.E. - Ages 18 months-2 yrs: 9:00am – 10:00am
C.S. – Ages 3-5 yrs: 10:30am – 11:30am

Through songs, stories, and exploratory activities you and your child will explore the wonders of nature and science.
March Session Theme: How’s the weather?
- 3/1 Rain, snow, and Hail – discover forms of precipitation.
- 3/8 Wind, clouds, and the sun – experiment with wind power and build a kite.
- 3/15 Rainbows – explore the world of colors and what conditions create a rainbow.
- 3/29 The weather and me – learn how weather affects our daily lives: how we dress and what mood we are in!
$22.00 per 4 week session for members / $26.00 non-members. Limited to 15 registered participants.

April Session Theme: Oceanography
- 4/5 Aquatic animals – learn about creatures that call the massive oceans home!
- 4/12 Ocean currents – explore the motion of the oceans.
- 4/19 Fresh vs. salt – join us as we investigate the differences between fresh water and salt water.
- 4/26 The beach – prepare yourselves for a day at the beach as we have fun with sand art and sea shell hunts.

SCOOP ON READING
Ages 2-5 years
1st Wednesday of Every Month, September thru May
10am – 10:30am
Parents and children are invited to ge the scoop on reading as the Discovery Center and Altrusa International Inc. of Ocala come together. A thirty minute long story telling session will be followed by scrumptious ice cream.
Complimentary – limited to 15 registered participants.
