SUPPORTING THE ARTS!

The City of Ocala recognizes the role that the cultural arts play in creative placemaking, and that they are a means by which to revitalize a neighborhood.    The Discovery Center under the direction of Kathy Crile, City of Ocala, Recreation and Parks Director, has developed the Tuscawilla Park, Cultural Arts Plan 2011-2014, as ammended.   The plan identifies Ocala’s culture, community themes and issues, objectives and priorities, and most importantly, an action plan.   Without goals and execution, we are only dreaming!   The development of cultural art programs at Tuscawilla Park will assist in creating a vibrant, living park that enhances the quality of life for our residents and guests.   Click below to view and dowload this exciting plan.
